She didn't get money from him for her college, since she got into a public one for the reason of getting out of that life without needing his money after leaving. It was mostly because of her age, because once she was 18, she could fight to get her brother out of such life. It has nothing to do with "sucking all his money before denouncing him". The college part, was because she got in a Lawyer college, for the reason to study the things that were never applied to her father, to study about the rights that she haves involving her family, and her brother. Because no one would care to think about giving her brother's custody to a sister that isn't working, doesn't have a residence, isn't going to an university. She waited until that time thinking on her future regarding her brother.
