The only thing this does is artificially reduce prices and ratios without actually changing any difficulty in buying anything.
its actually worse than that, not only does it not hurt the hackers in any way because everyone gets hit evenly, but they can farm mesos a lot more easily...
decimating all existing mesos will give hackers more buying power. and all the ratios pop back to similar levels within a few weeks/months.
