Seems like they're preparing a new part of Time Temple.

I'm sticking to my idea that ToT is relative. I mean, what the pineapple is the Goddess' Mirror, an object that can grant any wish, doing in a throne room for what appears to be for no one, IN THE PAST. seems a little too random if you ask me. I think that the entirety of Memory Lane holds the memories of everyone that lives under the goddess, and that the future holds their dreams of what could be, in one big metaphorical moral lesson-type of place. All of this creates a form of time based harmony which allows the goddess to remain in her sleep, and the goal of the black magician is to wake her from that sleep for an ulterior motive. Whether that is to free himself from his prison or to simply destroy all life while he's safe behind his gates is the only thing I can't answer.

But the throne does have an owner...
...it belongs to the Goddess.
I thought that would be fairly apparent.

I don't believe that waking the Goddess would result in the destruction of Maple, though.

"If the promise has been broken, we might need to wake the Goddess up from her sleep."

Clearly, it would have a big impact, but it doesn't sound as dire as ultimate destruction.

As for the black wings, I don't think they're anything more than Jessie and James to team rocket's Giovanni. Theyre the bumbling fools that only serve to stall the plot.

Humorously enough, I originally viewed the Black Wings as another Team Rocket, but the Black Wings are actually quite competent.

They did manage to get all the Seal Stones and actually unleash the Black Mage, after all.

I agree that it's stupid, but I doubt Nexon's going to make the plight of the Black Mage a novel worthy plot.

It doesn't have to be novel-worthy, but it doesn't have to be stupid either.

EDIT: forgive me if I'm mistaken but didn't Ereve coat itself in a shield and fly away the moment the Black Mage took his stand? Don't really thing a past Ereve would give us much...

Oh, and twenty bucks on Neinheart being the Black Mage all along...

Fixed that. Said "Ereve", meant "Leafre".

If Neinheart is the Black Mage, I'll be extremely disappointed. Though he definitely is suspicious seeing as he has now twice been resistant to the Black Mage's power, he's been the voice of reason to counter Cygnus' dreams that can only be described as glory-hunting.
It would be a difficult twist to explain. (I also personally like the contrast presented between himself and Cygnus. It would be totally ruined if he turned out to be just as corruptible.)

Actually, I just came up with another crazy theory. Maybe Neinheart is one of the last two Heroes.
