Between this, the generals, and everything else, I'm amazed the 5 heroes were able to seal the Black Mage. If this guy can manipulate dreams, then we could see the best or worst spin-offs ever in the history of Maple Story quests. But trying to stay cannon, if this is all a dream, and what happened to Pink Bean is "real", then there could be a new Door to the future. Okay, my head hurts. Anyone can shine some light into this?
I just thought of something. The two mirrors in the door to the future are broken, much like the Memory Lane door. I think this implies that something "broke into" the future, the same way that guy who released Pink Bean broke into Memory Lane.
I think we're going to have a past/future race to find something. Remember the Evan/Aran storylines about the pink crystals that sealed away the Black Mage? Whatever happened to that?
I'd like to think they'd pick it up again, or make something based on it...
But I'm still going to be persistent with the new map revealing nothing about the Black Mage. I think you just fight Akyrum there, and get some form of teaser in the Black Mage's throneroom.
EDIT: @kremechoko
Ugh, I reread your post, and...it's giving me the vibe that the entire ToT is relative, and changes for each individual that enters it. I mean, if Memory Lane is just you reviewing your memories in an effort to understand that "regretting your memories will lead to oblivion" and the future is just your dream, then there's nothing concrete about it, except we know that the Black Mage used it as his own private headquarters. I'm starting to think we'll get nothing out of it except more teasers >.>
Lol, um, actually...I have a feeling Nexon's going to surprise anal all of us and make the Black Mage the collective evil of every Mapler, and when you fight him, you're really fighting a part of yourself, essentially making it so he's immortal. You fight him off, and kill him, but he never, ever goes away. You heard it here first!
