Just a quick reply, because I said I didn't want to argue over anything... :+)

#1: I state what I state as facts either because they are facts or because stating "I think that..." before everything is stupid. For example, "Chocolate cake is disgusting." That said, the stance that I put out about the legality of IP infringement is not a matter of personal opinion, it is a matter of fact. You can be opposed to it, and that's fine, but IP infringement is illegal, regardless of whether you understand or are even willing to admit that it's IP infringement.

Noone said that true IP infringement wasn't illegal, the only thing you and others differ on oppinion about is if in this case it -IS- IP infingement we're talking about. I don't think it is because noone copyed anything, you think it is, because that person writes own software that's compatible with software provided by Nexon, and think that's an IP breach. Again, oppionions can differ

#2: Analogies do not work here, particularly hardware analogies.

I'm not the one who started with making them m8!

#3: Gratis versus Libre: Read that. There is a difference between something which is free of cost, and having an open license like you're claiming is justified with anything released free of cost on the Internet.

I stay with my opinion that publicising on an internet forum about any free available data on the internet, falls under the freedom of press, this has nothing to do with licences, it's about press freedom. But ok, you can have a different oppinion about these things!
