You might ask, why? To drain mesos out of the market. With this, they could also double the fee of all trades (for limited time) to drink more cash out of the economy.
15% items would go under 500 mil and everyone would have 100% mainstat if they introduced 10m cubes
A lot of people would be easily able to buy hundreds if not thousands of cubes.
