I'd like to buy/own one. The reason is that last night, as I was running Maplestory while playing a video on my bed, my laptop just suddenly and immediately turned off. It acted as though I didn't have the power plugged and I pulled out the battery.
I figured that the laptop had overheated. The fan was blowing at triple-speed, like it usually does when I usually play maple. This makes me think that a cooling fan, which I don't have, won't be too useful for cooling down my laptop, especially not in the summer when it's 90 degrees. My house doesn't have AC and my windows are all single layered, so it heats up considerably during the day, especially since it's really dry where I live.
I've considered putting my laptop in the refrigerator, but I don't want water droplets to start forming on the inside of my laptop.
tl;dr: I want some kind of refrigeration device that can plug into AC wall sockets, doesn't take too much power to run, and can act like an electrical ice pack for my laptop.
Can anyone recommend something good but not too expensive? What are the specs, shapes, brands that I should to look for? How long do these last? What is the normal price range of these devices? I'm not really looking for a portable one, since I usually don't play Maple or watch videos when I go out, and really, those are the only two things that can burn out my laptop. (That and huge pdf files, which I also don't really use when I'm out.)

Unfortunately, I haven't found any place to buy these devices from. Google shopping churns out no results. I don't understand why these are so hard to find. They look great for cooling.
