Even if the evidence is circumstantial, it's obvious what happened. Like entirely obvious, hard evidence isn't always necessary and a good "opinion" does normally pull through. These representatives clearly was looking for a big "HEY OBVIOUS BLOOD ON HER FACE", which is just completely unrealistic.
