That's getting at the part of this that's dirty. There were people who simply never left VPQ after the npcs were removed from towns, so if the rock had come out sooner it was conceivable you could get there legitimately. However, from what I heard those stragglers were all kicked out eventually. That means that if you tele rock to someone at VPQ now, somewhere up the daisy chain, there was almost definitely a hacker. Someone you know, knows someone, who knows someone... who hacked. That bites. But you know what? Somewhere along the line, you bought something someone got from botting. Or hacking. Or duping. Sure, you didn't necessarily know about it, but the way the economy works, you paid less than you otherwise would have even if the particular item you bought wasn't one of those botted or duped. That's the game we play in.

You could never trade with anyone, never party with anyone, never interact with anyone, and never have any chance of benefiting from someone else's ill gotten gains, but is that really the minimum for being legit? Isn't it enough to not perform hacks yourself? To not take part in the most blatant dupings? To do your best to shun those who do the aforementioned?

I'm going to enjoy VPQ. And I refuse to believe it's illegitimate to do so. The opportunity for a player to participate is legitimate, all it takes is to /find someone already there.

I understand the importance of not endorsing glitches or hacks for the site. The act of participating in VPQ is neither when Nexon presents the means of getting there (in the super tele rock).

Oh yeah, one more thing, the "sanctity" of Nexon's game in this case was almost surely violated due to the existence of a sloppily coded super tele rock that they put in to make money off of imbalancing their own game's playing field. The problem is not the people who are going to VPQ over the next few days or more, its the hackers who exploit the bad design choices of Nexon - and therefore Nexon's bad design choices themselves.
