MTS fee is way too high and World Transfer is worth like ~~450-500million(+?) mesos with the current nx:meso ratio.
You don't just collect meso, you buy items. You gear yourself up in a bigger server because it has time on it's side. More players, more mesos, more circulation, and most importantly, a lot more gaching. A 21 attack work glove could be unheard of in yello, hell, maybe there's one there but no one can pay the appropriate price for it (aka not as much meso in the economy).
It's also easier to merch in bigger servers because theres just more oppurtunities. Obviously you would invest into a world transfer once you've geared yourself up. That's what I did and I was one of the strongest drks in khaini for a good 6-7 months, though by scania standards I was merely above average if that.

..That can go on the opposite foot though. White scrolls, really wanted, not a lot of em in a server that hasnt had half the events that another server did, or as much gacha time. And by event's I'm more specifically referring to ones that advertise gacha. So a white scroll is going to cost more in yello (proportionally) than in scania. What happens in new servers is they attempt to sell things at a "scania" price, where only extremely abusive nx users or mesos buyers can afford.
So really when picking a server, depending on your goals, I would invest the first 70 levels into scania, merchant for semi-decent gear (70%+ stat at the very least) and move to another smaller server where, you'd be above average, rather than the mediocre funding that scania's standards shadow over you.
