If you're only playing the game to buy and sell items in the free market, that's not really playing, is it? ;X Sure, I get it's nice to make money, but that's not really the point of the game.

This.
How will legits make enough meso to buy the scrolls and books they need?
Whatever legits can do, a botting hacker can do faster. Yes, even quests, at least at the level we currently have.
Furthermore, if the total amount of meso in the economy drops, the value of botting for pure meso drops and npc'able potions and etc's goes up accordingly.
No, the solution is much harder.
Stop hacking.
How?
Make the server stop believing every piece of bs the client throws at it.
- No, this map does not have warp points, you cannot get from here to there so fast;
- No, these mobs do not spontaneously fly from their spawn points to a single platform;
- No, this skill does not have that kind of range;
- No, a human being cannot type that fast;
- No, you do not have that item in your inventory;
- No, just no. And banned for hacking.
Yeah, that means buffing up the servers a lot. Checking takes processing power. But it has to be done or we will never be rid of these hacks. Would you rather patch a flat every other weekend (and risk a deadly blow-out at any time), or just replace your shitty tires already?
