Hmm, Paladin into a Shad?
Guardian = 42% block rate, Shadow Shifter = 47% block rate, (That's with combat orders)
89% chance to not take damage sounds kinda' sweet, and then we can't forget the dual shield mastery for +300% defense total.
And for when you do get hit, there's always stance, achilles, divine shield, meso guard, and lets not forget all that avoidability.
That's pretty much godmode.
