CHICKEN!
(I had a speculation of the name instead of being A,E,I,O,U I thought maybe A[/]ran,B,C,D,[b]Evan. Reason:Because Freud was Evans "superior" but I doubt it..anyway I'll go with Cian XD)
Cian(female) is Aran's love interest. (Reversed for female Aran and male Cian). She secretly harbors hate towards Evan for taking Freud's place as the magician hero. Cian and Aran were two of the final five fighters to stand against the Black Mage. Aran and Cian together wounded gave the rest of their power to Freud and Afrien to seal up the Black Mage. Weakened, but not totally sealed away, The Black Mage landed a final blow, killing Freud and freezing the heroes in ice. The area around the heroes began to freeze and many many years later..the ice caps began to break apart of Rien separating the heroes. Cian's island slowly drifted south, soon flowers and lush greenery had appeared. However, due to the magic of the Mage Cian remained frozen. Soon a civilization appeared and elves had slowly appeared and made lives for themselves. Eventually, a powerful flower soon grew where Cian slept, and broke the ice. Cian was not hit as hard as Aran was and remebered the memories of the battle, but she cannot remember anything before that therefore she forgot how to fight or use her powers. One thing she did remember was Aran. Along her journey the elves will help her build her memories and skills. She will confront Athena who will help her remember her archery skills. During her journey she will meet with her love, Aran, and meet Evan (expecting Freud) she will resent him. She will travel to Elin forest(which will be expanded) where she will remember some memories from being a young elf. (Yes she will be an elf and elves will have been in a deeper part of Past Victoria Island.) After 4th job she will remember everything, and with Evan and Aran she will set out to save and find her other friends.
Playstyle: Very acrobatic, multishots. A legend very very very based on critical hits, aiming for vital parts of a monsters body. Double jumps and high speed post 4th job she will have a skill that allows her to glide short distances. She will be more agile than dual bladders and be able to shoot in the air aiming down, up sideways, or diagonally. Her ultimate move will be she strieks every monster on the screen multiple times. (Taken from highest resolution) and has a one minute and 30 second cool down at max.
That was my shot at it XD
When I read the first part of your shot at the archer legend's storyline, I was expecting something more like Fushigi Yuugi. I was pleasantly surprised (not that I don't like Fushigi Yuugi's story) and actually think that would be a cool storyline for the class. But we can only hope Nexon come's up with something half that decent.
I personally just think Nexon's bad at making stories really.
The Aran storyline was "ok," but, like the Cygnus Knights, the player spent all of his/her time fighting disgruntled mushrooms and a freak with a puppet fetish.
Evan, as a character, is just stupid as hell. One can even take him to Edelstein where the Black Wings are everywhere and have the SAME INSIGNIA that's on one of Evan's medals, yet he never figures out that he's on the wrong side until it's too late.
And God I hate the Resistance's story. How were they formed, who were the founders, how did the Black Wings not figure them out in the early stages, what was Gelimer doing with Vita and why was that Chimera in the tank never addressed, and for the love of God why are they so unorganized!?
If I had a say in the Resistance storyline, I would have made it something like this:
Spoiler
I would have made the character start off as a wounded civilian who washed up on the shores of Edelstein after the Black Wings attacked Ludibrium and he fell into the ocean and swept into a current that ran above Aqua Road. I wouldn't have him trust the Resistance right from the start, and make him act a lot more skeptical toward J and the other members. After working his way through the ranks of the Resistance I'd make him become increasingly suspicious of the real reason they were formed (after all, the missions done were never anything important, even that poison gas generator was nothing to be worried about when any half decent magician could do the same thing in less time). Eventually the player finds out that the thief woman, Claudine, was actually working as a Black Wing spy to try and get all potential rebels to band together so they could all be captured in one fell swoop.
Maybe for the third job advancement could be when the player learns of Claudine's betrayal. Make her turn Vita over to the Black Wings behind everyone's backs and try to come up with a reason not to save her, and have the player go against orders and sneak into a hidden section of the Verne Mines to find out that Vita was an artificial human meant to replicate the powers of the Legends or something, as well as see Claudine and Gelimer talking. And then that chimera from when the player first found Vita is the boss and is now much stronger after being completed or something.
I'd then have the fourth job advancement be something along the lines of rescuing everyone from a public execution meant to instill fear and despair into the people as they watch all of the rebels die before them. Maybe have Claudine act as the boss for this quest, and even have her use Dual Blade attacks to further imply treachery in the ranks of all the different classes (such as the Dual Blades working with the Black Wings in order to gain support in overthrowing Dark Lord).
Ok, I went a little overboard to try and make a point that Nexon could do a better job with the storyline, but whatever.
I do hope they pull something decent out with the next Legend though. Assuming this is a Legend, of course.
