Actual children aside, my argument is strictly towards anime lolis.

And, possibly since I'm still near the age of 16, I find it hard to to believe that there is a difference between a 16 year old and an 18 year old. Besides the fact that they become ''legal to pineapple''. That's just stupid.

There are many emotional and mental differences between a 16 year old and an 18 year old. At 18 you're supposedly developed enough that you should be aware of the decisions you're making and things like the difference between right and wrong. Adults who get off to 16 year olds do so in part because they are still mentally vulnerable. But this maturity differs from person to person and in reality, most adults aren't fully matured until around 27.

My argument is that people are taking it too far, and this is actually affecting innocent people, you can find an article on the internet called ''The Crime of Reading Manga'', where you can read how someone was arrested for watching Gao Gai Gar, because it had the slogan ''This is for those who haven't grown up yet, we know who you are, and you know to!'', which was seen as code words for pedophilia.

I don't think anyone should be arrested for reading manga. I think that sort of content shouldn't be produced in the first place though. It says more about the creators than it does the readers, though there are those who read such mangas solely because of the loli element.

The argument of ''Victimless Crime'' shouldn't apply, while it is true that some people see this as an outlet for actual children, some people see it as a means to continue their urges on with the real thing. This becomes a stale-mate, no matter what you do, some child is going to be molested, it's what happens in life, blocking any and all ''inappropriate'' images are not going to help this at all.

Societal conditioning is in place to recognize that this sort of thing is wrong and to keep people from acting on such urges. It may never stop all of such actions but if even one person is able to hold themselves back for fear of the consequences than it is a success.

Tell me where there is immorality in stuff such as Loli, all I hear is ''WOMEN UNDER 18 ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EXPOSE THEIR BODIES, BECAUSE THE EVIL PERVERTED MEN WILL RAPE CHILDREN AFTER SEEING CARTOON IMAGES OF THEM!''
Who does this save? Who is this helping? This is just for the mental masturbation of self-righteous and morally obsessed people.

When you legitimize anything like this it creates a slippery slope for anyone to be able to do what they want. You shrug at someone having sex with a 16 year old and then they or someone else may go after a 14 year old and go BUT CRONNO GOT AWAY WITH IT THIS ISN'T THAT MUCH YOUNGER. There's very little fear of someone going from jerking off to 16 year olds to being attracted to children, in any case. But it's still inappropriate for grown adults to be lusting after developing teens for the reasons I mentioned in the first pargraph.

And while this may seem like a Taboo subject, this has to be addressed sooner or later, I'm getting tired of people telling me the only thing people are allowed to be attracted in are 30 year old milfs with sagging tits. Real children, the thought is disgusting as hell, but in Anime, there are more reasons to be attracted to Loli's other than the fact that they ''look young''. Most Anime's have overbreasted characters, and that's about all they do to them. ''GIVE THEM BIG BREASTS, NEXT''. These usually exceed the size of a human head, it's just disgusting. They usually put more time into artistically drawing loli's, because they can't just draw oversized boobs on them, it's not PURELY for the fact that they look young. But the fact that they don't have generous fat on their skin is also a plus.

This is a pretty disgusting sentiment and you have a lot of growing up to do. REAL PEOPLE MAY HAVE BODY FAT OR SKIN ISSUES. Besides what you've said being incredibly offensive to women, this sort of thinking leads to the sort of mental conditioning that creates sexual offenders.

Before anyone gives me an Ad Hominem attack, no, I am not a pedophile, the thought of touching little children disgusts me to no end. And while I really don't care about some 16 year old girls buisiness, I think it's fine if they go off having sex, it's their life to screw up, not yours. I hope you know that MANY 16 year old girls would lose really good boyfriends if your logic was to be considered accurate. Also, I don't believe in Karma, but let me say this before I go to work

I have no issue with 16 year olds having sex with 16 year olds. That's a completely different topic. Neither of them are developed enough to know any better.

Also, on the butt shaking subject, in plays when I was a kid we had all kinds of dance that involved such things. There used to be a dance we'd do called ''I don't want to be a chicken, I don' wanna be a duck, all I wanna do is shake my butt butt butt''.
We all participated, because it was funny, now that I'm grown up. Adults have to avert their gaze because they're scared of it being ''too sexual'', what are you kidding me?

This is ridiculous. That is NOT what was being portrayed in this video. Someone else said something similar earlier in the topic and I couldn't help but cringe because it seems like the sort of awful justification someone trying to get away with something would give.
