I don't follow how "the 'mysterious disappearance of items'" implies that many were lost.

Also, 'many' tells me nothing. You can say that it was a massive problem, but I never heard of it. That's not to make me the definitive last word on whether something is significant, but, between my brothers and myself, I tend to hear about large uprisings in Maple.

That's different though because you paid for a product. It's much different if it isn't CS or anything purchased related, such as his hellban mesos. I do understand your point though, however their priorities aren't in "in game items".

Yes, in most cases, you're SOL unless you can use some financial leverage.
You'll never get lost mesos back, and items can be assumed gone as well.
As I said, they're under no obligation to restore such things, and it would be quite a bit of work for them to verify the situation.
