This is why small kids don't need to explain Pokemon.

The only people that follow all the lore are the people that are so old that they feel embarrassed when they go and buy their Pokemon games now.

Really, you expect the new kids to know any of the old story crap? Pokemon is just about the giggles and battles, and the ''backstory'' of the Pokemon are really just to make them more interesting.

I'm only embarrassed in game stores when i'm next to kids buying every iteration of CoD or people buying the money sink games [movie->game, pop-star centric, etc].
Or because I'm the only 20 year old in the store not buying Pokemon for a younger sibling. -3-
