There's actually a good reason a lot cluster around 38-41... that's when the questing levelup content runs out. A well statted character finishes the Kerning Square quests at 40 easily. After that, you're on your own. I have yet to find a 40-50 training area I enjoyed. Not a big fan of the CPQ or LPQ - the Pirate PQ and Dojo are ok, but those start being decent at 55-60 too... 55-90 is basically Jester Territory, and is easy. But you have to get to 55 first. So this is throwing more content into an area that's already saturated, while ignoring the levels that aren't so good.

I don't know, I found that 1-50 was the easy part, but then 50-70 was the more tedious area of the game. I suppose what you said about jesters is true, but I truly loath jesters and the ks wars that occur there.

As for my actual opinion of this patch: Well, I guess I have something to do on my Gunslinger, finally. I really don't like training in the mid-Second Job levels as there isn't much to do after Mushroom Kingdom and Kerning Square, so hopefully this will make things a bit more entertaining.
