I should have to make another character just to enjoy new content.

And 55 is possible if you can sit in front of a comp for 6 hours, which I can't and don't have time for.

Pretty much this. I wanted to add the medal to my collection as well as those glasses, get them on my other characters, do the quests but not sit there for hours on a character that can barley hit or kill them so on and so fourth

Well I was able to do all the mushroom castle quests on my 100 dawn warrior, and even fight those three derpy bosses.
maybe it's not going to be max-level limited?

Either way we'll find out tomorrow, so no sense getting worked up about it now.

IIRC those who play KMS have confirmed it being locked. That and Ericson saying "you surpass the level of 75" should say something.
