He is only gender neutral when referring used as a generalization. ( "let he (generalization) who is without sin cast the first stone" )
Since the pronoun was specific to an actual person the pronoun's gender is explicit. ( "He (Eurydice) isn't a guy")

Only makes it sensible to call Eurydice a she, not necessarily "not assuming gender".
