Theory on Permanent CS Equips

In short people play maplestory BECAUSE their computers suck.

Actually most of the people I'm aware of don't play it because they have bad PCs; it's already been demonstrated to have been coded so poorly most decent modern games can be played much more effectively on anything that handle Maple.

The thing that draws people is the simplicity of design and the nostalgia of the old 2D platformer games. Sometimes people don't want to be immersed in super realistic 3D graphics and just wanna chill with a dorky 2D sprite game reminiscent of yesteryear. Like video-game equivalent of potato chips. Bland looking, but tasty comfort food (even if it is slowly killing you by loading you with fat and toxins).
