I know that I hate this glitch. BUT: reindeers do an instant 3 shot. 1 reindeer doing three is not a bug. Have 2 and instantly losing it is another story.
What about having 3-4 Beowulfs hitting you within the 2sec interval and all 3-4 hits reducing the "Guard" count by 1 per hit?
