yo72 Wrote:>AcornStory as a valid way to judge a classYeah, I don't understand why people use the arrow thingy nor do I entirely understand it's implementation.
I do, however, know that this is twice in a row that you've attempted to correct me without anything meaningful to add.
I did note that this could be utter nonsense, but apparently you just get your kicks by trying to be a smartass.

Trust me, its only in acornstory, not in the main game.
Jellyflower Wrote:You guys are reading too much into it. The prayer is just self non-dispellable echo for 2 hours, which should stack with the real echo. Remember Cygnus gets 60 more aps compared to other level 120s, putting them effectively to level 132. And since their skills mirror their 4th job counterparts with partial nerfs, it can be seen as having 10-20 levels advantage compared to a starting 4th jobber at 120. Empress Prayer's 4% can be analyzed as level 132 * 1.04 = level 137 ish, which is why acornstory suggests 140-150, and even 160.Read the first quote. They didn't forget accuracy.
But Nexon forgot something: damage penalty and accuracy formula.
Meanwhile, your explanation involved reading into the blog far more than any other explanation here.
As for damage penalty, I was just having a conversation with my brother about that. Can someone confirm that damage penalty still exists?
Fiel Wrote:As for the "dramatically increases HP/MP" skill ("Empress's Shout"), it's not so dramatic. It's 20% and it doesn't appear to be a party skill.Well, that one is a passive skill anyway. Wouldn't expect it to affect your party.
iamflip Wrote:Isn't that a passive skill anyway? I swear I read that somewhere. Maybe. No idea. That's what is confusing me.
But yeah... Empress's Prayer sounds much more significant that we first thought. But if that is so, why did we not see this coming when this whole UA thing started to appear in KMST and went in full force in KMS?
There are sometimes things that get "lost in translation" though.
