The GMs are on more often than that, just because they don't announce themselves doesn't mean they're not there. Could they be more interactive and talk to the community more? Sure, but their main job has always been to catch hackers and other ToS breakers so as much as we might like to see/hear more of them, chances are good things will remain as they have.
