Anyways, If you're using chakra for goofing off or traveling, then whats wrong with just LvL 3 chakra? Does it really need to be maxed if you're goofing off with it?
CatBoy from SW had a ShiningRayLess guide for bishops because they get genesis in 4th job. Why max shining ray when you can get doom instead right??? its so much more fun!! Yah its also so much more useless. Kind of like chakra. You don't need anymore than a few points in doom, and you dont need anymore than a few points in chakra.
Atleast PP can be used as a finisher and an initial hit like i mentioned earlier. Unlike some people, I actually loot the mesos I get from monsters instead of Xploding them (thats what PP is for). Sure you can make the argument, well you have BOT. If that's the case, then Meso bomb is also useless since you dont have any mesos on the ground anyways, and you're using BOT instead of bombing anyways. If you want to talk about goofing off with chakra, well how about using PP to make a sea of mesos in HHG and getting free fame for it? I actually did it this morning and got famed 4 times because i had a sea of mesos at the bottom.
PP can be used in 4th job when venom doesnt finish off a monster. Sure you can just BStep the monster who has 1 hp left, but then you cant cast BStep again because of its cooldown. Atleast with meso bomb + PP you can deal that last 1 dmg to the monster youre training on and use BStep in the other direction.
Have you ever had a bonefish use super defense on you without even having enough HP left to see green on their HP bar? Happens to me about once every 2 mins. I'm only 3rd job and i dont have any range attacks other than meso bomb, and thats exactly what i use as a finisher when im far away.
