I was monitoring my computer during pap and all it did was bring my ram to 1.5gigs, as soon as i killed it and tried to leave the room, maple froze and this time i waited it out and all of the sudden, bam 1gig of ram was freed and maple was down to 500mb of ram used and things started to move on maple. Then it crashed lol.
And I think is not just pap or something new, since preBB when I fought bergamot my maple froze for maybe a min or two, and today when I went to kill it again same but worse (though now I have double the ram), which makes me wonder why a map full of monsters or even fm ch1 entrance don't lag as bad as killing/fighting just 1 monster.
Also I use windows XP.
