As the topic says, all of the screenies I have seen just show the Notebook/Laptop as Untradable, and a description about turning it into the Maple Admin, blablabla.
None of them have said that it is a Quest Item or anything. So, has anyone found a notebook without having the quest active? Beginners can't do the quest (I fail to see why we can't compete, but w/e <_< ), but if you can find a notebook without the quest, then I want to make sure I pick one up on my islander.
*I collect all kinds of untradable quest items and whatnot. I have 56 Graham Crackers from last December as well as Torr's Horn
I also have 35 Wooden Boards and Rusty Screws from the time when they would drop whether you had the quest active or not*
