This is the same "Windows 7 issue" that people have been having for the past couple of years, it's just even more pronounced now, especially if you're playing in 1024x768. It's some kind of memory problem and it's made worse by an OS that is more graphics intensive to begin with. They really need to get cracking on fixing this problem, because it's only going to get worse.
