it takes like 4 football fields of corn and then some gasoline to make ethanol fuel .
those things dont come cheap and it certainly wasnt made to be the long term solution.

"it takes the equivalent of 1.29 gallons of gasoline to produce enough ethanol to replace one gallon of gasoline at the pump."
