They probably decided to throw them all on the sale date with the least volume as to avoid outrage over many people's inability to access the game on a Monday, afterall, who would complain about missing a SP reset sale because of school/work/etc.
Conversely, if they decided to release 500+ or some crazy number of Cubes this morning...I will be peeved.
