For Vista, either SP2 or GameGuard->Hackshield caused most of our problems. Both of which came within a month of each other & during that time I did not play MapleStory.
Reasoning for these theorys:
Vista SP2 - Demethos was released November 12th 2008, which I played until early January before taking a break (SP1) and experienced no serious issues while running MapleStory. Returning Late September/Early October 2010 (With SP2) I began experiencing various issues.
HackShield - JMS BigBang Tespia. The first few days of the testing did not use HackShield, until a patch implemented HackShield causing so many issues that comparing the current gms on Vista/W7 results in GMS running perfectly.
