Comment on my CB build

PP + ME does around 7k-8k+ when its focused on a single target (ex gobis house with mesos beneath it) It takes a while before you can do that with BOT. You need almost 4k range to do consistent 8ks with BOT which you wont get until late 13x if you're very very well equipped (just look at jsaladbar and mastayoshi). Also, BOT isnt ranged, while mesos bomb has around the same range as bstep. It helps keep a flow going while training by letting u mesos bomb one way to finish off a monster, then continue killing in the other direction.

Chakra's animation is just to slow for it to be useful while training. Sure if you're goofing off at pirates in herb town that do 200 damage , then ya chakra would be great at saving pots. Other than that though, If you're trainin at skeles, stopping for 3 secs for everytime you get hit, just to cast chakra, is hardly what i would call efficient.

Sure BOT outdmgs PP + mesos bomb later in life, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt get it all together. Would u tell a fire mage not to get mist just because he gets meteo in 4th job? dont think so

Edit: I just lvld to lvl 114 today and finally maxed out PP. Currently I have maxed everything excpet chakra (lvl 3) and shield mastery (lvl 0)

I have 6 lvls til 4th job which = 18 sp
This translates into lvl 21 chakra and 0 shield mastery.

So actually u can almost get both.

Edit #2: Decided im putting all my points into endure

Level 18: Additional recovery of HP +54, MP +18 every 12 seconds

MP + 18 every 12 seconds sounds alot better than chakra

pp is indeed absolutely useless after 4th job heck its barely useful before that because of bot. with chakra you can use it during apq or goofing off, traveling, etc. in many cases it does work in training for example at squids. its better to get something you will use occasionaly even if its not over something you literally wont use at all.
your reference to how fire mages get mist even though they get meteor is ridiculous. their main method of training before 4th job is mist. such a reference is more comparable to why a bandit gets assaulter since it has boomerang step during 4th job which obviously lacks common sense.

why dont u have maxed endure already?
