They shutdown all the servers probably to add some extra security measures and all so this stuff doesn't happen again. It wasn't just MapleStory that's down. Everything is down currently.
I honestly hope they do some back-tracing and not just hell-ban the people responsible for this, but add some extra measures to trace their IP range addresses and block them from accessing anything.
They seriously also need to find a way to work with Interpol and do some international stuff to take down these hacker ran websites and forums and get their games some extra security measures.
