Oh you misunderstood me, the first part was simply agreeing with you, under the circumstances there were problems. The last part were obviously problems that they need to address, not to correct you.
But as you brought up, I agree it's totally possible to do as such. The problem is the dependence makes it a common situation where you need it, and you need to work for it. I don't believe such dependence should be as much as it is now. But as you said, what can you do? Just ask for it! lol
