Firefighters let house burn down

I listened to the newcast, but the guy was just kinda unnecessarily, over-excessively violent (?) towards Republicans.

But firefighters should've just put the damn fire out >.> How could they seriously think that the fire wouldn't spread any further than it already had? Isn't it the fire fighter's duty to put out the fire? It is their job...

They could have easily just put the fire out and charged the guy up the yin yang. If they're going to make them pay, might as well not risk the fire spreading to other houses...

I think they should have put it out, and then maybe just charge a fee/fine over $75. I'm really interested in the official statement that's going to be given out and how they try to justify this.
