Since you're the only one laboring under the delusion that colleges are actually about educating people rather than paying for a wasted chunk of your life and a document that validates your self worth purely based on the amount you were willing to pay for it, yes.

Well, I'm a writer and I want my stories to be RPGs, I don't see how I could possibly get that job without studying game design. as for history, I love history and I want to know it down to a fine line going to learn that at a college means I'll have a better knowledge of certain things .

Eh, depends. At least in my country, having a degree makes something out of you, sadly. I'm currently studying to be a lawyer. Would I be satisfied with that, probably yes. Could I make something out of myself without a degree? Probably yes, but the working curve would be 4~5 times as steep you know.



I find that pretty offensive you know. Us third-world country people really suffer from bad education, low investment in universities and the lack of long term plans for education. Our colleges are public though. Most of us really look forward to studying abroad, to see what the first world looks like, even if we have to invest 100k on education and we have to go through some suffering being away and stuff.

Also, not to offend and really offtopic but, If you were refering to Israel as a third world country its not, its more like a De Facto state of america albeit highly religious and far more right wing.

and yeah, I could be in college right now the catch is, I'm from the u.s but for the last 8 years I've been living in Israel (thanks to my parrents) and my hebrew isn't the best or even all that good so studying here would be pointless, so I need to save up ALOT more money then normally to study back home in the states.
