Visitor event in a nutshell

Not even. Even if you use time travel logic none of it makes any sense at all.
1. Visitors are seen in the present.
2. Dr. Bing develops the suit to fight the aliens.
3. The Bing suits are powered by crystanol which is obtained from the future.
4. Using the bing suits, the visitors are driven back.
5. The visitor mothership crashes and their leader is defeated. He's revealed to be Future Dr. Bing.
6. Future Dr. Bing says that because all the crystanol was used up, the future maple world became uninhabitable.

This is where it stops making sense. If all the crystanol is used up, then we can't go into the future and take it, because it doesn't exist there anymore. If we can't go into the future and take it, then the bing suits can't work. If the bing suits can't work, this means the visitor suits can never come to be, and that the future must still have plenty of Crystanol since no one traveled forward to take it. If there's plenty of crystanol, there's no reason for anyone to go back in time and try to live out-of-phase in the present. If there's no reason for anyone to go back in time, then it's impossible for us to have seen the visitors in the present at the start of the event. Therefore, there's no reason for the bing suits to be developed in the first place, no NEED for crystanol in the present, and no reason to go take it forward in the future. There is no problem and everyone lives happily ever after.

Future Doctor Bing also says, "When did the visitors ever attack you first!?" right before he sends you to the earliest point in the event's in-game timeline TO ATTACK FIRST. If he doesn't send you back in part 4 to kill yourself from part 1, then there would be no reason to assume the visitors were aggressive and no need for such a ridiculous plan to fight them off in the first place. So not only does the causality of events not line up under any sort of logic, but the "resolution" actually ends up ruining what little sense there was to be had out of it. from a storyline perspective, event is a total failure. As a game mechanics experiment, i'd say it was wildly successful. IMO it was also a failure from a gameplay perspective but that's more personal opinion.

Actually, they got back in time AFTER the events from stage 2. I mean, we took the crystanol in the future, and in a further future, it runs out. Because we took it. And it's the same crystanol that will get to be in the future. That's what I call "paradox matter". The very fact that it was stealed is the reason of its existance. Stopping going back should fix all the problem.

Then... about MSPaint Adventures' way to see this... Well, I'd look these pages.No worries if you get lost, it's hard to follow, just consider that the robot can travel in time, and modifying the past creates the alpha timeline to vanish. Just put it in this place, until it talks about weird stuff again. Following that logic, there'd be a point where a timeline, after having enough present people battling the stuff would WIN, and become not an alpha timeline, but the MAIN one.

It's all a paradox after another, and depending on how it's considered, it can make sense or not. Just have a particular set of rules to follow, and never violate them.

Yeah i'm using Doctor Who time travel logic to try to figure it out, lol. "timey wimey" and all that. There was no explicit reference to a paradox machine or anything, though, so I don't think that's an assumption we can make. It would clear up a lot...

Also I'm working off the assumption that the suits were only invented once, not twice which seems to be how some other people are looking at it. Problem is Dr. Bing is saying they're running out of crystanol and then he's giving it away like it's candy on halloween for completing his quests.

AH! But it's because it WAS being given away... in his past. After we got it from the Henesys place. When it ran out later, is when he says that, they get back to the past later in the timeline. Around 50 years from the present, and that's why Bing is old.
