Blue and red plaid two-pocket shirt

$49.50 at Gap.

Gap's shirts are absolutely classic and well-made, meaning you'll look great in them, they'll last a long time, and they're found at a good price. If you're looking for a general color idea as opposed to specific brands, I'd say stick with something along the lines of the one I've shown here, with more burgandy/navy red/blue tones than other shirts, as the darker tones of each of those colors match better to your band tee and don't take away from the graphic as much. On top of that, with your dark brown hair tone this shirt would be perfect, in that the darker burgandy/navy/blended gray tones, intermixed with white, help complement your hair as opposed to a shirt that's all dark tones.

When you wear the shirt, make sure to leave it completely open and unbuttoned, to showcase the graphic on the tee. Also, as much as I love dark wash jeans and think this plaid would be perfect with them, avoid super dark/black, as your tee is a black base to begin with. Don't go with anything white/light gray/light washed either, but just your classic denim wash. Complete the ensemble with sneakers with some white to them (preferably more white sneakers, just not ALL white) - authentic Converse work well here thanks to their white half-circle front.

Enjoy and have fun!

Oh, and p.s.: roll up your sleeves to just below the elbow as well. It'll help take even more attention away from the plaid pattern all over and direct it towards the center-stage graphic.
