Gender and Language

In some languages, girls and guys have very distinctly different forms of speech, and they may also address people differently according to the gender of the speaker and the person who they speak to, for example in Korean, they address their older siblings with different vocabularies, the same goes for Spainish, and if I remember correctly, some parts of the verb are different. This sounds like a strand of socio-linguistics? I don't have any sources for you online, I do have a book as I once studied the subject...years ago... it's a very interesting subject. What I suggest you do though, is to type your keywords into Google Scholar and see what you can get out of it.
