my former step father is an alcoholic. he used to drink heavily, down a 24 case of canned/bottled beer in under 2 hours. he used to do this every day. paradoxically, it is only after taking medication that f'ucks with his head and having stopped drinking so much that he is finally having issues with his liver, my mother says to me.
