The requirements for a lot of quests have been reduced [King Pepe's Scroll now has you kill 50 of each mob, for example]. The exp has been adjusted for post-bb, but it felt pretty much the same.
Equipment like 10 wa gloves/ high stat bathrobes are still traded post-bb. There are shops filled to the brim with Saunas/WGs/Raggedy Capes. Low level common items still have use until you reach level 80 and want to start potentializing some gear. 10 attack is still 10 attack.
And high amounts of a secondary stat aren't really what you're shooting for when you potential gear.
