I cant really blame them, they'll devote a lot of time to fixing a problem that will be intentionally on the server a day or 2 after the fix goes live, if they're going to use the time for something else I dont doubt they would and should do this.
Not to say that its okay this ever happened in the first place, but i'm more excited for that 15 second lag fix than the alien fix, since we'll be stuck with them in a few days anyway.
