Tell me this: If ThaiMS had the exact same data as GMS right now, who would you think created the area? (aka NexonAM releases it in GMST week 1, but 2 days later, THMS releases it officially. All the data points to THMS (Continent 5, etc.)

i would still be fully convinced that it's a collaboration of two development teams with different capabilities working together bring something truly new to maplestory. i don't think the weapons are gms exclusive, i'm sure thaiMS will get them during the expansion, as they stated this is a multi-part patch for them.

the only thing that could convince me that it's not would be a large separation in release dates. the release date is so extremely telling in this case. if it were either versions exclusive they would want it to be released in their version first, without a doubt.

...or of course, an official statement from either company highlighting exactly what was done. frankly, this is something i'd like to see from GMS. it's obvious asiasoft has something to do with this and i would like to see them properly credited, and vice versa for nexon america in the thai version.
