They knew that by not saying it isn't masteria related that people would assume it's masteria related, thus milking pre-existing popularity.
Please note that this notice references the barricade brothers. Not to mention the barricade looking fellow that we've seen multiple times since the calendar. If it wasn't for tespia, everyone would TOTALLY think this was a masteria expansion.

That doesn't support the thought that this content isn't masterian at all. It would have never been seen either way, so saying that we've never seen it before doesn't answer anything and it definetly doesn't make people think that this isn't masterian related.
