This seems like the kind of thing i'd have posted before so maybe I have, no idea. If it has been, it didn't show up in the search. I think it would be interesting to apply to Maplestory to see how the player base compares with the type of content nexon tends to deliver. At first i was thinking SP might be a bit biased as a location to collect data, but then i realized how much the information extracted influences the markets and other parts of the game that it's probably going to be a pretty even mix.

Decided to take it because I had read about this theory before and wanted to see the results.
It basically splits players up into 4 categories:
1. Explorers - People who are interested in learning new things and seeing new places. This includes literal exploring (the type of person who would make a map of the Phantom Forest) and also trying out new strategies and ideas (The type of person who would, for example, discover that the 120+ Neo City map is good training for arans.)
2. Achievers - Interested in collecting new items and earning rewards for their work. Anyone who has a vast collection of medals and untradeables. People who went out of their way for Lotus chairs and the like. Also includes leveling up and basically any other way you can of having your effort acknowledged by the game in a way that other people can see.
3. Socializers - I'm sure i don't need to explain this one. Two words: Henesys Hoes.
4. Killers - Merchants, KSers, the kind of people who make a DK just so they can rush bigfoot into hapless noobs. They're also sometimes a more general type of competition, but there's not a lot of ways to do that in Maple. The only thing I can think of is if you really love Monster Carnival.
The test will give you 200% which is distributed among the four categories, no one can be more than 100%. This gives you a primary and secondary. The two tend to combine in interesting ways. Here are my results:

87% Explorer, 53% Achiever, 40% killer, 20% Social. No surprise to me or anyone I'm sure; all you have to do is look around for evidence of that lol. I'm going to put a poll up with the 4 primaries but I'd appreciate replies stating your percentages and secondaries as well.
