The thing is, they did -not- have any specific criteria for selecting testers. -Hime- only states there was and that it wasn't random because, duh, admitting it would make them look unprofessional.
There were people who hadn't played for almost a year that were selected when they logged in. -Most- of the productive members of the Maple community were -not- selected, it didn't matter if they had been playing since Beta, or they were never banned once, or even if they were the ones sending in tons of Bug Reports; they didn't get in, but the kid asking, ''What's Tespia?! O_O I got a pop-up saying I was chosen for something! Is it a scam?!'' got in.
Even in the slim chance it -wasn't- random, they still picked almost nothing but unproductive members of Maple, so they're bringing themselves back to what happened last time.
