I remember a time when people laughed at others for even suggesting a rollback might occur.....then it happened.

Once you establish that you are willing to go that extreme and it's still fresh in everyone's mind it's gonna come up at the drop of a hat.
Not to mention who wouldn't be upset at the thought of losing time they spent on something? Especially when it's a real possibility.

Missing the point, this is just to fix MTS, how on earth could anyone of sound intelligence tie that together with a rollback?

The thing is, Nexon should've seen this coming. Not only did hammers already cause issues with duey and MTS in the past that they should've learned from, they should always keep something like a checklist of every single difference between kMS and gMS and go down the list for each feature, testing to make sure they mix well. A vast majority of glitches stems from mixing copypasted kMS content with gMS content that doesn't exist in kMS.

And she was referring to how Nexon's ignoring the duplication trick and meso exploit and instead turning attention to a much less significant problem.

We all know that Nexon is going to turn a blind eye to the big big issues, but do we really have to go through the steps of whining and moaning about them EVERY. SINGLE. TIME? Can't we all just be happy that they've taken multiple actions in ~12 hours to attempt to fix it? Thats still more than we usually get from them. I do, however, agree that they need to keep a checklist of things they have that KMS doesn't, so that things like MTS are thoroughly checked with all the updates.

Check rankings and there's your answer.

Personally I'm for the rollback for once since I had to delete a character to make a DB, as easy as it is to level up nowdays, it still sucked knowing later they just screwed up the free slot ~_~

Edit: Reread what you said, guess it would pay to read things more than three times, but still no reason for the insults.

I've always lived by a philosophy that insults are fine, as long as they're true. If someone is a whiny peach, and I point it out, I'd prefer to call it an observation, rather than an insult. If they don't want to be insulted for peaching all the time, theres a simple solution.

Actual problem: We got rollbacked 2 days ago because of an exploit creating an insane amount of mesos.
Actual problem: Another exploit happened today, creating an insame amount of duplicated items. No rollback because of this.

That's a very real problem. Your holier-than-thou attitude is really not necessary.

I didn't say there wasn't a real problem, I said that they weren't addressing it. Also, the rollback was not on Tuesday, hence not two days ago.
And I am far from holy, I'm just wondering why suddenly even the most intelligent maple story forum is filled with useless dribble. We're all aware theres a problem, obviously, coming to Southperry.net and shouting the problem back and forth is the best way to get it solved.
