My advice, keep them in your inventory till you potential your stuff if you are going to before being set on an adjusted base. For me, most likely I'll go back and use it on some really old alts that were made in the dice creation era that needed fixed.
How long do they last? I took it to mean that both the AP and SP resets only last ten days before they expire if you don't use them.
