How do you Solve a Rubik's Cube?

It gets to a point where the more algorithms you memorize, the better off you are since you get more options. F2L probably cuts your time the fastest since it solves both the top and middle at the same time, although that's probably the most difficult for the average person attempting to solve since it involves the most memorization in steps and possible permutations.
