OK so Gas land is a documentary about this new natural gas that is very efficient and good for the environment. It causes very little pollution and the U.S government is considering trying to switch america's factories to running on this gas. The problem though is the process to extract this gas. They have to drill down and to the side of the earth to get this gas but the lubricant they use for this is unbelievably bad. This lubricant as well as the gas will leak into tap water causing it to be HIGHLY toxic leading to worst case brain tumors or some type of brain damage. Did I mention this causes the water to catch on fire? Yea... Water on fire. Not a small fire... A huge fire. This guy by the name of Josh Fox gets offered by a power company a HUGE check (I believe it was 100,000 dollars) to build a rig near his house. Josh fox who cherishes his house decides to do some research on this natural gas and what he finds is shocking.
In my opinion its a MUST see.
