As far as I know there is no "spend mesos receive levels" NPC yet so there's no practical reason for them to rollback character levels, unless they cannot do a partial rollback.
What I'm hoping is that they can somehow rollback trades involved in this hack (or even all trades, maybe), without having to rollback everything else.
